Name: Sandy "The Sandman" Collora
Birth date: August 8, 1968... I think.
Studio name: Montauk Films/ Sandy Collora Studios
Headquarters location: Huntington Beach, CA USA
Experience: I have any experience? Huh... I dunno. I've been creative since I was very young.
Material preferences: Supah Sculpay, the best! I also love wed clay for big stuff.
Sculpture’s size: Depends on the piece, For busts, 1/2 or 1/3 scale, for figures 10-12 inches is a good size. I also like to work 1:1 when I have the time, which is never.
Influences: Alvarez, Malvina Hoffman, Steve Wang, Bisley, Alex Ross... Clete, The Shifflet Bros, Brom, Joe Sorren, Ashley Wood, Takeya, Frazetta(the master himself)... I like anyone doing something that's good and that's different.
Companies: All the ones that don't pay.
Expectations: Immortality
Advice to new sculptors or amateurs sculptors: Be financially secure before you venture out into this world... LOL! Be passionate about what you do, and do it to the best of your abilities... Always learn from everything you do, and from the people around you
Other: Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation causes disaster...Go for it!
