Material Preferences: ALL! For action figures we generally use castiline. For maquette style we were using super sculpey but have now switched to Pro-Clay. For large special effects pieces we use WED clay..
Sculpture's Size: I would say our favorite scale is 1/5th.
Influences: Verrocchio, Rodin, Alessandro for the classics. Jordu Schell, Miles Teves, Mike Hill, Tim Bruckner currently.
Companies: Toy Biz, Mattel, Palisades, ReSaurus, Diamond, XPlus, MGA, Playmates, Dreamworks, Universal, many more.
Expectations: As a company we would like to reach the point where we can market all original sculptures as toys and not have to always be based on someone elses artwork.
Advice to new or amateur sculptors: practice practice practice. Never believe you;re too good to improve. Anatomy anatomy anatomy...you can never know it enough.
