have been able to meet most of these people in person, and learn from them...oh and that's just sculptors....many other artists that work in different mediunms have inspired me also...
Companies: Mattel, Disney, Warner Brothers, SOTA, Gentle Giant, Hot Buttered elves, Wheatty wheat Studios....and now I am pretty much on my own :) which is the best...it's just great to be able to follow your own path.
Expectations: Pay the bills..hahaha...ok.seriously...I want to create something that I like..I want to be free....free to create what I want, when I want, but ..I want to create something that people will look at and say "wow this is inspiring..I want to become a sculptor"...then everybody will be a sculptor..and oh,oh...ok maybe I just want to inspire as many as I can...but not everybody ok? a sculptor has to pay bills...and competition is tuff and ......well....ok....I'll be quite now...
Advice to new or amateur sculptors: NEVER STOP ASKING..even if you think you are very good....there will always be someone that will inspire you... for example God...I mean there's no better sculptor than him...have you seen those Gentle Giant scans? well..that's my goal....for now ..hehehe....perfection should be your next goal....and for more advice ....please feel free to visit my webpage which will be up soon...I will have tutorials etc. I learn by taching...honest.
